Dragon Ball and One Piece currently share the most fighters between their respective franchises that are present in the game. Let's break down each franchise and their respective fighters:ĭragon Ball: All-round good guy Son Goku will definitely (or obviously) be headlining the Dragon Ball line-up, with other fighters including Vegeta, Trunks, Piccolo, Frieza, and Cell. Jump Force's enormous roster - currently consisting of 39 confirmed fighters so far - brings together characters from over 16 different series'. It's an awesome way to mix and match characters for that perfectly balanced (or all-out bonkers) skill set. This opens up a variety of gameplay possibilities as each character chosen will benefit another team player by tagging in the match in a flashy move. Capcom introduced tag-in combos and specials, it will also be the case in Jump Force. Each team seems to complement each other's abilities, and similarly to how Marvel vs. Players will pick three characters at the start of each match, and can switch them on the fly in between fights. Jump Force's gameplay and combat comprises of 3v3 tag team battles. Seeing all these universes collide in one awesome package is everything the kid in me could ever ask for, and I can't wait to see some of my favourite characters - including Vegeta, Ichigo Kurosaki, Roronoa Zoro, and the dashing Jotaro Kujo - all duke it out in spectacular fashion. This ceremonious game, developed by Spike Chunsoft on the Unreal Engine 4, is a celebration of everything we love about the manga and shows that we grew up with.
